ISO-pro
is a high quality hard surface cleaner with a high evaporation rate and is one
of the most useful service aids to have around... whether at home of out and
about.
Applications ::
Cleaning:
· Since ISO-pro is a solvent, it has many uses
as a home cleaning agent. It is often used to clean dirt from hard-to-reach
areas, such as between keys on keyboards and on mouse wheels.
· It
evaporates almost immediately, there is little risk of shock or damage to
electrical components, and it can even be used to clean the lasers in CD and
DVD drives.
· ISO-pro also removes
stubborn glue residue and dried ink, and it can remove stains from most natural
fibres, including cotton, silk, and wool.
· Use ISO-pro Microfiber cloth or paper towel
to clean old mirrors that have developed stubborn spots and streaks. The same
treatment can be given to bathroom mirrors, taps and counters. It eliminates
germs on many surfaces and cleans them for little expense.
·
ISO-pro is a
cheap and easy de-greaser, pour some onto a micro fibre cloth and wipe down
your stove, range hood and kettle. It works great, and costs much less than
products marketed to do the same thing.
Wipe down all kitchen appliances including chrome to clean and shine,
there is no need to rinse afterwards
because ISO-pro dries almost
immediately. This technique also scores points for reducing the number of
chemicals sprayed around the kitchen and bathroom
Automotive:
·
ISO-pro can be sprayed onto windshields to melt any
icy build-up, and it can also be used to clean the glass.
·
Diluted
in water, it's often used to remove wax or polish residue.
Industrial:
·
ISO-pro has a wide range of industrial uses.
·
Used in printing industries as a solvent and
for cleaning delicate equipment. The manufacture of most computer components
involves the use of ISO-pro as a
solvent, and it is used in the manufacture of paint, as well as being used as a
paint stripper. Even in industries that don’t use this alcohol in
manufacturing, it is often used to clean and degrease machinery.
General
Purpose Ideas:
·
Easy Ice Pack -Handy ISO-pro
ice packs can be made by combining one part rubbing alcohol with two parts
water in a zip lock freezer bag. The rubbing alcohol prevents the bag from
freezing solid
·
No
More Ring around the Collar- Wipe
your neck with a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or cloth before
putting on a collar shirt.
·
Stain Removal - Rubbing alcohol can be used to blot away
fresh ink stains on carpet or clothing. For tougher stains, soak the spot in
rubbing alcohol for several minutes, then wash.
· Frost
Free - Keep windows frost free by washing them with
a solution: 1 litre water and a half-cup of ISO-pro. In fact, simply pouring ISO-pro onto frosted car windows will dissolve it immediately.
Another item to put in the trunk...
·
Fight Fruit Flies - Using ISO-pro
in a fine-mist spray bottle can be used to get rid of fruit flies. Be careful
when spraying to avoid getting it in your eyes.
·
Sticky Stuff – ISO-pro has long been a popular choice for removing
sticky residue left behind from price tags, band aids and stickers. Soak the
area for a few minutes, or dab onto skin, and wipe clean.
·
In The Garden – ISO-pro can also be used to clean garden tools that
have been used to remove dead, diseased and rotting plants. Gardeners don't
always consider the fact that this harmful bacteria will be transferred to
their garden tools and needs to be removed so it doesn't transfer to healthy plants....
There are many sanitizers that you can use to do this, but ISO-pro is something almost everyone has around. Another suggestion
is to clean off the tools with soap and water and then letting each tool soak
individually ISO-pro for about a minute. Wipe the tools with a clean rag that
has also been soaked in rubbing alcohol. The tools should dry quickly.
Handy Tips::
1) Make your own disinfectant
You
know how important disinfecting is, especially with cold season just around the
corner! Mix up one part ISO-pro
to one part water, add in a spray bottle and do your
disinfecting. You can even use it directly on a cotton pad to clean your
earrings, thermometers and any other personal items that require
disinfecting.
2) Stainless Steel Cleaner
Add some ISO-pro
to a soft micro fibre cloth and clean your stainless steel appliances with
it. It’s a great way to remove fingerprints, and it dries
streak-free. It’s actually insanely impressive how well it works and how
effortless it is. You are most welcome.
3) Remove Hair Spray from
Mirrors and Tiles
To get rid of hairspray build-up, use some ISO-pro alcohol on a micro fibre cloth
and wipe away that sticky mess with ease. You can also do this for mirrors and
tiles.
4) Re-fresh Your Sponges and
Cloths
Cleaning a sponge or kitchen cloth is really
easy! Soak the sponge or cloth with ISO-pro
in a small bowl, you don’t need it to be overflowing, just enough to saturate
the sponge or cloth. Then, rinse it off after 10 minutes and it’ll be
clean as a whistle. For quick cleaning of your previously unwashed
cleaning tools, spray them with ISO-pro
before use.
5) Clean Sinks and Chrome
If a shiny sink gets you excited, you are
going to love this. Once you’ve cleared out your sink (stainless steel or
porcelain), spray ISO-pro in the
sink to not only clean and disinfect it, but to shine it up as well. Use a dry
cloth to buff the sink basin as well as the chrome finishes. It’s also safe to
use on brass. I like this idea especially when I’ve finished preparing a
meal with raw meat.
6) Remove Ink and Permanent
Marker Stains
Yeah, I said permanent marker. Ink stains are
really, truly challenging. If you do get ballpoint ink, gel ink or
permanent ink on a garment, soak the area with ISO-pro for a few moments and then blot the stain up on a clean
paper towel. Place in the wash, per the garment’s care instructions and
repeat as needed.
7) Disinfect your Mouse
and Keyboard
Use ISO-pro
to as a disinfectant and as a degreaser! It dries almost instantly, so
you don’t need to worry about water damage
